About Us – Australian Stainless Tube & Imports Pty Ltd (ASTI Polishing)

Australian Stainless Tube & Imports Pty Ltd (ASTI Polishing) was incorporated in 2010 in Logan City, South Brisbane, with a clear purpose: to supply high‑quality stainless‑steel products and deliver a reliable, professional polishing service with prompt turnaround and dependable delivery.

The business was originally founded by three partners — Roy McCallion, Lindsay Evans, and Rob Evans — who together brought extensive experience and industry knowledge to the stainless‑steel sector. When Rob Evans departed the business in 2013, Roy and Lindsay continued to build on ASTI’s strong foundation, developing a steadfast reputation for quality, consistency, and customer care across Queensland.

After more than a decade of growth and service to the Logan region — including Shailer Park, Meadowbrook, Logan Central, Kingston, Browns Plains, Crestmead, and surrounding areas — ASTI has now entered a new chapter. Roy and Lindsay have sold the business to new owners, Michael Hu and Tony Hu, who bring fresh capability and long‑term vision while maintaining the same high standards customers have relied on for years.

Today, Lindsay is retired, and Roy remains with ASTI as General Manager, ensuring continuity, expertise, and the same trusted service clients have always received.

ASTI Polishing now proudly operates from Kingston, Brisbane, expanding its reach and strengthening its service capacity across South East Queensland and beyond.

We also accommodate stanchions and base plates using our two dedicated plate polishers.

We polish to your specifications and can provide Ra certification upon request.

ASTI also polishes copper and brass, and we have the capability to polish sheet and plate up to 1200 mm x 2400 mm, from 2 mm to 16 mm in full sheets. Thicker plate can be polished when supplied in smaller cut pieces.
